Leichter R\u00fcckenwind treibt mich voran. Landschaftlich wie immer ziemlich reizvoll. Auf einem Baumstumpf steckt ein auf dem Kopf stehender Wanderschuh. Cochrane ist zwar keine Gro\u00dfstadt, bei uns w\u00e4re es ein etwas gr\u00f6\u00dferes Dorf, aber hat alles was man braucht, Kneipen, Restaurants und Hostels. Im gr\u00f6\u00dften Hostel finde ich ein Zimmer und feiere mit den Besitzern und einigen Touristen ins neue Jahr. Um 1 Uhr gehe ich mit drei Wildwasserkanuten aus Kanada und der Schweiz in die Disco. Hier wird ordentlich getrunken. Manche Gauchos kaufen eine Flasche Whisky und verschwinden mit ihren Damen an einem dunkleren Tisch im hinteren Teil des Raumes. Die Liveband ist nicht gerade die, die mir richtig zusagt.
